Adult Racing
The 2006-2007 season is gearing up and there are numerous races on the schedule. There are two types of crew onboard Navitae, full-time and part-time crew. As the boat is a racing boat there are a very limited number of part-time positions available and are filled on a first come first served basis. Full-time positions require a level of commitment by the crewmember to regularly attend practice sessions and races. Joining the Advanced and Adult race teams requires a time and effort commitment that includes personal study time, weekend racing, and online practices. Crews participate in work parties, deliveries, and equipment upgrade decisions. The coaches and crew leaders dedicate a significant portion of time to the program and expect that all participants work just as hard. Benefits include first-pick of races, crew gear, and the opportunity to skipper the boat for a variety of events and even cruises. The 2006-2007 Racing Schedule (as of 07-06) For Results, Click Here

What can we say? Adults thought the boat looked so fun that they wanted to
race it too! Navitae Juvenis now has adult and women's teams to compete in
the Seattle and Puget Sound area. If you are interested in learning more
